IT HAS BEEN a tough few weeks for Paul McShane.
First he had a rather public falling out with Hull manager Steve Bruce, and then BBC commentator Jonathan Pearce inadvertently broke the news that McShane is in fact 36 — a full eight years older than previously thought.
After all of that, McShane was probably looking forward to celebrating his birthday yesterday (he turned 29, not 37, just to be clear.)
But when he showed up for training this morning his team-mates made sure to get in one more dig, leaving these giant birthday balloons at his locker.
