Paul McGrath raised €400 for charity by auctioning off his Second Captains t-shirt

The former Ireland international raised the money for A Buddy for Nicole.

YESTERDAY AFTERNOON, FORMER Ireland international Paul McGrath posted a picture of his very cool Second Captains t-shirt.

Everyone was jealous.

Such was the reaction, McGrath decided to auction the t-shirt with it eventually going for €400 to twitter user @Rexymorgano.

The funds raised will go to the ‘A Buddy for Nicole‘ which aims to train an assistance dog for a Wexford teenager who suffered a debilitating brain virus at the age of six.

Fair play to all involved:

Nobody seems to want to be a goalkeeper ? Great to see the keeper caught out.
