IRELAND’S PAUL DUNNE is firmly on track to winning his first European Tour title, as he takes a two-shot lead into tomorrow’s final round of the Trophee Hassan II in Morocco.
The Wicklow man carded a four-under 69 for the second consecutive day to move eight under, and two shots clear of Italy’s Renato Paratore.
England’s Paul Waring, Spain’s Pablo Larrazabal and Denmark’s Lasse Jensensit are next in line, sitting on five under.
Dunne started the day two shots off the lead, but then moved to three clear of the pack after five birdies in his first 12 holes. He then hit a double-bogey on the 13th, but settled himself again with four pars.

He recorded a birdie on the 18th hole.
He’ll muster all of his experience from sharing the lead as he entered the final round of the British Open as an amateur, before a closing 78 saw him fall down the leaderboard to 30th.
The 24-year-old admits that this time around is different though.
“I think now if I play well I kind of expect to be up there with a chance so it’s different,” he said afterwards.
“I’m not going to say I’m going to win tomorrow, but I feel like I’m more ready to win than I was then. I feel like it’s something I should do rather than make the end to a great story.
“If I break 70 again I think it’s going to be hard for someone to catch me so I’m just going to try to do that.”
Paul Dunne finishes with a brilliant birdie - and he leads by two shots in Morocco after Round 3. 👏👏
