All eyes will be on Michael McKillop at 3.59pm, as he goes in search of his fourth Paralympic medal in the 1500m T37 Final.
The men’s 5000m T54 final should be an interesting watch, with Thailand’s world champion Rawat Tana and Switzerland’s Marcel Hug the favourites to prevail. That event is due to begin at 2.18pm.
T42 200m title is another highly competitive race, with Britain’s Richard Whitehead aiming to defend his title from four years ago. That event gets underway at 11.32pm.
Britain are expected to add to their already impressive medal haul in rowing, after plenty of success in the sport at London 2012, with the first race set to begin at 1.50pm.
The T47 100m takes place at 2.45pm, with Brazil’s Yohansson Nascimento among the favourites. There was heartbreak for Nascimento four years ago as he pulled his hamstring while competing in the same event, though he still completed the race after opting to hobble to the finish line (see video above).
This Should Be Good Too…
Football 5-a-side is not something you get to see too often on a global stage, and Argentina v Spain (11am) is among the intriguing-looking ties taking place.
