IREALND’S PÁDRAIG HARRINGTON will enter the final round of the Olympic golf event with his hopes of claiming a podium finish very much alive.
The three-time major winner finished his round of 67 with birdies on 16 and 17 to enter the final day on five-under.

The Dubliner is just four shots behind Australian Marcus Fraser, who shot a one-over round of 74, and lies on nine-under.
There were contrasting fortunes for Séamus Power, however. The Waterford native carded a score of 74, to finish on one-under, three-over for the day.
Great Britain’s Justin Rose leads the pack, sitting on 12-under, one stroke clear of Open champion Henrik Stenson, after a superb round of 65.
If there are ties in any of the the top three positions on Sunday, the final positions will be decided by a sudden-death play-off, with only one medal for each position awarded.
