MAN UNITED ARE short of defensive cover with the absence of Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Jonny Evans and Tyler Blackett and as a result, the door has been opened for Northern Irish 19 year-old Paddy McNair to make his first-team debut against West Ham today.
McNair, from Ballyclare in Antrim, has featured regularly for United’s U21 side in recent years and will start at centre-half alongside Marcos Rojo at Old Trafford today.
