MMA FIGHTER PADDY Holohan was one of five Irish fighters to win their bouts at the O2 Arena in Dublin on Saturday night.
The flyweight, who was making his UFC debut, kicked off what would prove to be a remarkable evening for the sport in this country with a first round win over American Josh Sampo via submission.

Seconds after the victory, Holohan borrowed a celebration made famous by fellow Tallaght native Robbie Keane.
The combo, which involves a cartwheel, tumble and firing of an imaginary arrow from a bow, was first unveiled at the 2002 World Cup when Ireland striker Keane scored in the win over Saudi Arabia at the Sapporo Dome in Japan.
