It wasn't always pretty, but Packers set up a playoff showdown with the Cardinals

Green Bay ran out 35-18 winners against Washington.

AARON RODGERS THREW two touchdowns as the Green Bay Packers bounced back from a slow start against Washington to complete a clean sweep for the road teams on wild card weekend.

The Packers will travel to the second seed Arizona Cardinals next weekend after they turned an early 11-point deficit into a comfortable win over the NFC East champions.

The Packers’ 35 points was their biggest score in game since Week 3.

After opening the scoring with a safety and a field goal, Washington added a touchdown through Jordan Reed early in the second quarter to go 11-0 up.

But the Packers responded with TD catches from Randall Cobb and Davante Adams, as well as a Mason Crosby field goal, to go in at half-time 17-11 ahead.

Washington retook the lead in the third quarter when quarterback Kirk Cousins capped a 73-yard drive with a three-yard rush for a touchdown.

But the Packers’ offence found its rhythm on the ground as James Starks and Eddie Lacy ran in touchdowns to seal their progress to the divisional round.
