A LATE TRY from centre Josh Matavesi denied Racing Metro a third win in Champions Cup pool 5 and forced a draw in Swansea.
The Top 14 side, still missing Jonathan Sexton, had led the tie throughout thanks to 14 points from the boot of Johan Goosen and terrific carry from lock Francois Van Der Merwe to ground a first-half try.
However, after Goosen extended the lead to 12 – 19 with a drop-goal inside the final 10 minutes, a superb break from Justin Tipuric paved the way for Rhys Webb to send Matavesi powering towards the try-line.

Goosen would be presented a long-range penalty chance to reclaim the lead with two minutes to go. But after that effort trailed wide he launched a drop-goal from 50 metres, and that too fell short leaving the four points evenly shared.

The result leaves the Parisian club level with Northampton on 10 points in pool 5, but the Premiership side lead by virtue of points difference.
The Ospreys keep pace with the leaders on seven points after one win, one loss and this draw.
