We should check to make sure Justin Tipuric isn't actually a gazelle

The Ospreys flanker played a big part in Ospreys’ tying try against Racing Metro.

OSPREYS SNATCHED A late draw against Racing Metro in the Champions Cup yesterday after Josh Matavesi crashed over for a try in the last few minutes. The build-up was a great showcase for Justin Tipruic’s often salivated-over link-up skills.

The Welsh flanker’s open-field ability caught the eye on the Lions tour in 2013 and he was at his marauding best when dishing this offload on to Rhys Webb.

Tipuric is a great ball player but is he a bit of a luxury when Wales also have Sam Warburton and Dan Lydiate at flanker? Although the Welsh back row looked very good in the 2013 6 Nations with Faletau at 8, Tipuric at 7 and Warburton at 6.

Regardless, he is a great player to be able to spring from the bench late in an international.
