James McClean: the new guy. INPHO/PRESSEYE/Lorcan Doherty

Open thread: what should James McClean sing for his Ireland initiation this weekend?

Well, you got what you wanted. He’s heading for Dublin tonight… but what should he perform for his new team-mates?

IRELAND’S EURO 2012 hopefuls will start to land into Dublin tonight ahead of this week’s international friendly in Dublin.

Giovanni Trapattoni has brought two new faces into the senior set-up for the game with the Czech Republic at the Aviva Stadium.

Shane Duffy gets the nod in the absence of defensive rock Richard Dunne and in-form Sunderland winger James McClean was a late, welcome addition.

After his call-up McClean spoke of his understandable apprehension at facing the Boys in Green squad initiation; singing a song in front of the entire group.

So, what should the Derry man perform? The Town I Loved So Well? Born to Run? So Fresh and So Clean?
