Open Thread: How should the GAA solve the Hawk-Eye problem?

The organisation are expecting the system to be “in full working order” next week.

AFTER A HIGH-PROFILE malfunction yesterday, the GAA announced that they would be launching an investigation into what exactly went wrong with the Hawk-Eye system.

They added that they were expecting the system to be “in full working order” for next week’s games.

However, the trust previously placed in the system by players and fans has now been undermined, so are the GAA right to approach the matter in this manner?

Should the system be scrapped entirely? Should alternatives be looked at?
