Open thread: how do you think Ireland will do today?

The Italians are in town and looking for their first win of the tournament. How do you reckon it will go?

AT LONG LAST, Ireland get their Six Nations campaign back up and running again today.

Declan Kidney’s side host Italy at Lansdowne Rd, with a 1.30pm kick-off. We’ll be there throughout.

Last time out, of course, the game against the French was postponed with minutes to kick-off in an icy Paris. So, only now do Paul O’Connell and his charges have the opportunity to work out the disappointment of defeat to the Welsh in their tournament opener.

Italy arrive on the back of two defeats and are 8-1 to earn a win in D4 this afternoon.

But what do you think?  Let us know in the comments section below.
