MARTIN O’NEILL HAS one piece of advice for his former player Neil Lennon: trust your judgement.
O’Neill and Lennon were on opposite benches last night as they took charge of respective Manchester United and Celtic Legends sides in a charity game.
It was O’Neill’s first time back at Parkhead since he left six years ago, though the pair have been in contact.
“My advice to Neil when he does phone occasionally – and it is only occasionally, it is not terribly often – would be, all the time, to have a think about it and analyse it yourself because you are the one who is closest to it,” said O’Neill.
