'You're not happy enough' - Gift Grub takes aim at Martin O'Neill

The Today FM skit parodied the Ireland manager’s antics in the wake of the Georgia game.

MARTIN O’NEILL’S post-match interview with Tony O’Donoghue was one of the big talking points in the wake of Ireland’s last gasp win over Georgia on Sunday night.

O’Neill reacted tetchily to a suggestion by the RTÉ reporter that McGeady’s late goal simply masked a disjointed performance from the Irish team, saying:

“We’ve won away from home. I think you, even you should be delighted that we’ve won the game.”

When O’Donoghue replied that he was thrilled with the result, O’Neill said: “Well you should show it.”

As they do, Gift Grub took O’Neill’s reaction to the surreal next level this morning, including assistant manager Roy Keane leading the assembled media in a sing-song.
