One in five children think Jesus Christ plays for Chelsea - survey

They were given several options, including ‘X Factor contestant’ and ‘astronaut’.

ONE IN FIVE children think Jesus Christ plays for Chelsea, according to a survey undertaken in London at the Brent Cross Shopping Centre.

The children in question were asked ‘Who is Jesus Christ?’ with the following options.

a) A footballer for Chelsea
b) Son of God
c) TV presenter
d) X Factor contestant
e) An astronaut

20% of the children, many of whom may well have been taking a none-too-subtle tongue-in-cheek approach to the questionnaire, chose the first option.
