“It’s been a crazy few months for me, and to get this contract feels like a reward. I have worked hard but I’ve got to make sure I keep that going,” the Dublin-born teenager continued.

“It has been an amazing experience to be involved with the First Team. It’s new surroundings and new pressures, but that’s something I have to learn to deal with.”

QPR currently sit in 15th place in the Championship, and replaced the sacked Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink with Ian Holloway earlier this month.
