HURLING AND FOOTBALL are finally getting big screen adaptions with the news that ODEON Cinemas will be showing both All-Ireland finals in the coming weeks.
The scramble for All-Ireland final tickets can be a maddening and ultimately fruitless experience but the prospect of watching a final with some cinematic trappings might at least partly compensate for missing out on being there live.
Free tickets to watch both finals at the ODEON can be booked online at GAA.tickets.ie and either printed off in advance or collected at the cinema box-office on the day of the event.
The cinemas taking part in the event are in Blanchardstown, Coolock, Point Village, Stillorgan, Cavan, Limerick ,Waterford, Naas, Newbridge and Portlaoise.
