O'Connor rings the changes for Kerry's Croker curtain-raiser with Dubs

Manager Jack O’Connor has made eight changes from the side that lost to the Dubs in last September’s All-Ireland final.

SO, HERE WE go again.

And manager Jack O’Connor has made eight changes from the side that lost to the Dubs in last September’s All-Ireland final.

James O’Donoghue makes his first competitive start for the Kingdom at corner forward in place of Colm Cooper. The Dr Crokes man is, of course, unavailable due to the Killarney outfit’s upcoming AIB All-Ireland Club semi-final.

Darran O’Sullivan starts at No 11 with Dromid Pearses’ man Declan O’Sullivan taking a breather, following the junior club’s dramatic exit from the Junior Club Championship against Derryresk last month.

Kieran Donaghy captains the side from full-forward in Cooper’s absence. Here’s the full run down:

Kerry (v Dublin, Saturday, Croke Park): B Kealy: S Enright; M Ó Sé, P Crowley; T Ó Sé, K Young, B Maguire; S Scanlon, B Sheehan; P Galvin, D O’Sullivan, S O’Sullivan; J O’Donoghue, K Donaghy (capt), BJ Keane.

Both Derrytresk and Dromid hit with heavy bans and fines for brawl
