MUNSTER TALISMAN Paul O’Connell could yet play some part in the remainder of Munster’s season following further tests on his injured ankle.
Thomond Park officials confirmed that the second row had his injury reassessed in Dublin yesterday evening. Experts told him to expect to return in four weeks’ time.

The Ireland lock suffered ligament damage during the the second-half of the Reds’ Magners League win over Leinster in Limerick, having landed awkwardly after jumping for a line-out.
