FORMER MIAMI DOLPHINS receiver Chad Johnson was released from jail after he was arrested on charges of domestic violence, The Miami Herald reported yesterday.
Johnson, who recently changed his name back to Johnson from Ochocinco, allegedly head-butted his new wife during an argument in a car.
Evelyn Lozada had cuts on her forehead when police arrived at the scene. She was later transported to a hospital. Johnson and his wife were returning home after going out for dinner. The argument started when Lozada found a receipt for condoms in the vehicle.
The Dolphins cut Johnson just hours after he posted bail and was released from jail, the newspaper said.
