An Ireland U19 tested himself against Robin van Persie and Adnan Januzaj last night

Noe Baba was part of the Fulham U21 team that lost to a strong Manchester United side last night.

IRELAND’S NOE BABA pitted his wits against two of Manchester United’s Premier League stars on Tuesday evening.

Robin van Persie and Adnan Januzaj both got valuable minutes under their belts as United’s U21s beat Fulham’s U21s 4-1 at Craven Cottage.

Baba, who is a regular in Paul Doolin’s U19 squad, started on the left side of Fulham’s back three.

And he had his hands full as early as the 13th minute when van Persie finished some neat build-up play for the game’s opening goal.

Joe Rothwell scored twice to give United a 3-0 lead at the break before van Persie got his second 10 minutes from time.

Substitute Stephen Humphrys scored Fulham’s consolation goal in stoppage time.

Two regular Ireland internationals may be playing in League One next season

How was Robert Lewandowski allowed to stay on the pitch after this sickening clash?
