CORK HAVE AGREED to replay their Electric Ireland Munster minor hurling semi-final against Tipperary on Monday.
Immediately after last night’s epic draw between the counties, it was announced that the rematch would take place tomorrow at Páirc Uí Rinn, with a 1pm start.
That was the original date pencilled in by Munster Council chiefs for a replay but would have left Cork and Tipp with the prospect of going again less than 40 hours after the conclusion of the Thurles stalemate.

Discussions involving members of both camps took place immediately after the game and while Tipp asked for the replay to be put back until Monday, Cork initially refused.
However, Red FM reporter Lisa Lawlor revealed early this morning that the Rebels have now performed a U-turn, and will entertain the reigning provincial and All-Ireland champions on Monday evening, with an expected 7.30pm start.
