You can buy Nicky English and Cora Staunton if you're in Asia next weekend

Yes, you read that right!

THE SCENE IS set for the FEXCO Asian Gaelic Games, which will be held in Shanghai next weekend.

And if you fancy getting your hands on former Tipperary hurling star Nicky English or Mayo ladies football ace Cora Staunton for a couple of days, you can do so, for the right price.

Staunton and English will get bought by a club at auction, who can then avail of their expertise for the weekend.

English and Staunton will then provide advice and team talks for the successful bidders ahead of their key matches.

For the second year in a row, it’s been confirmed that there will be more ladies footballers than men participating, an indication that the ladies game is spreading all over the world.

This video preview, featuring Mícheál Ó’Muircheartaigh, Staunton, English and FEXCO’s Shane Kavanagh, has been compiled by Jerome Quinn Media.
