GLOUCESTER’S NICK WOOD got himself into the record books with the second fastest sending off in Premiership history this afternoon.
The prop could have no complaints after being red-carded by referee Wayne Barnes for a disgraceful stamp on Saracens’s Namibian flanker Jacques Burger.
Sarries went on to win 44-12 and Wood did apologise to the player at the final whistle.
