Niall McGinn has plenty of admirers queuing up as he grabs a brace for Aberdeen

The 29-year-old is out of contract at Pittodrie at the end of the season.

NORTHERN IRELAND INTERNATIONAL Niall McGinn scored twice and added an assist as Aberdeen beat Dundee 3-0 to go second in the Scottish top-flight.

The 29-year-old’s current deal expires in the summer and boss Derek McInnes is anxious over whether the winger will extend his stay.

Tonight’s brace brings his tally to 11 in all competitions this term and his boss has admitted a change of scenery may be on the cards for the former Brentford and Celtic player.

We’ve made Niall what we feel is a strong offer,” McInnes said.

“It’s not so much the contract offer for Niall. I think it’s just maybe weighing up more what he wants to do next, whether he wants to stay for a bit longer which we certainly hope is the case or whether he wants to try something different.

Hearts are rumoured to be top of the queue for his signature should he decide to leave Pittodrie.
