AARON RAMSEY IS not considered a free-scoring midfielder by most, yet he is fast developing a reputation as one of Arsenal’s most prolific players.
The Welsh international hit the target again in a 3 — 1 home win over Stoke City. Ramsey showed good sharpness to give Arsenal the lead against Stoke at the Emirates today, sliding the ball home after Asmir Begovic could only parry Mesut Ozil’s powerful free-kick into his path.
Geoff Cameron then equalised for Stoke, capitalising on the rebound after Marko Arnautović had struck the post with his initial effort.
However, Arsenal then restored their advantage, as Per Mertesacker’s well-executed header from a corner crept past Begovic.

And Bacary Sagna made the victory certain in the second half, heading home an Ozil free kick.
Meanwhile, in today’s other Premier League game, Swansea beat Crystal Palace 2-0 at Selhurst Park, thanks to a second-minute Michu strike and a Nathan Dyer effort just after half-time.
