THIS PICTURE OF what is believed to be the Tipperary GAA jersey for next year surfaced online yesterday.

As far as we can tell, the main difference is that the latest offering doesn’t have a collar.

What do you think of it?

Here’s the key GAA club fixtures for the week ahead

Why bother with a new jersey? Only gonna be worn a few times, that goes for the vast majority of teams. We are being charged premiership ticket prices, premiership jersey prices but still it’s an amateur game. I still wear my old finches jersey with serious pride!!

GAA tickets are not the same as the Premier League. They are more expensive. If you train with a club, you’d find you would wear the jersey a lot and the old ones too.

Not a fan. GAA jerseys should stay as traditional as possible in my opinion- like baseball jerseys. No collar to protect from sunburn as well…

Some people might not recognise a Tipperary jersey unless the wearer is also holding a pint bottle of Clonmel chardonnay.

Gaa jerseys are embarrassing and nothing worse than been abroad and seen some fella wearing one on a beach with his socks up over the ankles. What’s that all about???

People wont recognize a Tipperary jersey unless you see a car parked by the side of the road, ham sandwiches, a bottle of tea and some woman pissing behind a gate..Classy people ……

As a Tipperary man, I have to say its an awful looking jersey. More suited to rugby league, what’s wrong with a plain classic design? Will stick with the old finches jersey as well……oh by the way not all tipp people drink the Clonmel Chardonnay! Stuff gives me wicked heartburn!
