This new* Leinster jersey is very, erm... stripey

*It looks legit to us, but the province has not officially unveiled a new kit yet.

THOUGH WE’RE STILL to see it for real in official outlets, this is apparently Leinster’s new jersey for the forthcoming 2013/14 campaign.

While the old shirt is currently available at a knock-down price of €26, earlier today, this picture of the royal blue number complete with three stars, five Bank of Ireland logos and four stripes appeared via Slipper1 on the Leinster Fans forum, Babbling Brook.

There’s a lot going on there.

The boys in UCD are clearly comfortable enough with their appearance to accept the potentially unflattering horizontal stripe. Either that or new coach Matt O’Connor just wanted a little taste of Leicester at his new home.

But it doesn’t matter what we think of it, will you Leinster fans be wearing it come September?
