JAMIE CARRAGHER COMPARED David Moyes’ tenure at Manchester United to his time playing under Roy Hodgson at Liverpool.
Carragher made the comparison as a counter-balance to Gary Neville underlining his stance that David Moyes deserves more time to achieve success at Manchester United with reports today saying that the Scot will be removed from his post.

“When give a man a six-year contract he deserves the opportunity and the time,” Neville said on Monday Night Football.
“We used to laugh at Italy 20 years ago and say it’s ridiculous (the high turnover rate of managers) now we’ve almost become accustomed to it.
“Fans are well within their rights, they’re the only people, but I don’t like it when people within the game release statements calling for the manager to be sacked. It’s not something you’d ever hear from me. It’s a difficult job, something I’ve never done.
“I do fear for David Moyes, but I’m hoping the club come out and clarify it and maybe it won’t be true.”
