Neil Seery out of upcoming UFC fight after breaking rib sparring with pro boxers

The Irishman was set to face Richie Vaculik at UFC Fight Night 55.

SOME DISAPPOINTING NEWS for Irish MMA fans tonight after Neil Seery announced that he has pull out of his fight with Richie Vaculik at UFC Fight Night 55 in Sydney after picking up an injury.

Seery broke a rib in training when he was sparring with professional boxers, probably in a bid to hone his strike defence ahead of his bout in Australia.

The UFC slows down for nobody though, and a replacement was announced for Seery pretty quickly.

Hopefully Seery gets back to full fitness soon and is added to a UFC card in the near future.
