THE BIGGEST WEEKEND of the Irish basketball season is nearly upon us as Pyrobel Killester and Griffith Swords Thunder go toe-to-toe at 8pm on Saturday night, while Courtyard Liffey Celtics take on Ambassador UCC Glanmire in the women’s decider at 5.15pm on Sunday.
Both games, along with a host of other finals, will take place at the National Basketball Arena in Dublin.

Ahead of the event, The Courtside Collective travelled to London to ask some NBA players such as Glenn Robinson, Malik Beasley and Lavoy Allen if they could predict the outcome of the game… based solely on their names and face.
