THE NEW YORK Knicks had a big advantage going into last night’s game against the Spurs. San Antonio had to travel from Milwaukee to New York the night before, and were exhausted after playing four games in five nights.
And that advantage got even bigger when starting forward Stephen Jackson sprained his ankle on a courtside waitress three minutes into the game at MSG.

The waitress was taking the order of NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg, who requested a popcorn and a water, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst. You’ve got to think MSG will make a new policy where ushers/waitresses can’t be on the sidelines during play.
The Knicks went on to win 100-83.
You couldn’t really see it on the live broadcast, but Sportscenter showed a replay of a different angle. You wouldn’t get it at the darts.
