Monster Nazare waves deliver another potential world record
WITH EUROPE GETTING battered by storms over the weekend, Portugal’s surf hotspot, Nazare witnessed some incredible waves yesterday.
Brazil’s Carlos Burle surfed a wave believed to be over 100 feet from trough to crest.
If that measurement is confirmed, Burle will have smashed the previous record of 78 feet set by Hawaii’s Garrett McNamara at Nazare last year.
