NATHAN REDMOND ISN’T closing the door on the possibility of playing senior international football for the Republic of Ireland.

The 21-year-old joined Norwich City from Birmingham City in 2013 and played in the Canaries’ Premier League opener against Crystal Palace last weekend, alongside Irish internationals Wes Hoolohan and Robbie Brady.
“I can still play one more campaign with the England U21s. And that will be my third campaign,” Redmond told Sport Magazine.
“So I can still play for them, but I’m still viable to play for England seniors, and I qualify to play for the Republic of Ireland seniors, too.
“So when the time hopefully comes to play international football, I’ll have to decide [between England, Jamaica and the Republic of Ireland].
“But right now I just want to focus on having a strong Premier League season.”
