THE MUNSTER HURLING championship kicks off next weekend as Cork face Waterford in Semple stadium.
In a weekend of both football and hurling action, across six different competitions, the Munster hurling quarter-final next Sunday afternoon is certainly the pick of the bunch.
The games begin on Saturday with five matches taking place in the Christy Ring and Nicky Rackard cups.
Later that evening Down and Tyrone renew rivalries in their Ulster football replay in Newry. While on Sunday the Ulster action continues as Derry meet Donegal in Celtic Park.
Also on Sunday Galway travel to Ruislip to face last year’s Connacht championship runner-ups London.
While elsewhere on Sunday the Leinster hurling championship continues in Cusack park, Mullingar and Portlaoise. As London visit Westmeath, and Antrim travel to Laois, in their respective clashes.
