Rivals Liverpool and Man City pay their respects on Munich air disaster anniversary

It is 56 years since eight Manchester United players and three members of staff lost their lives.

TODAY MARKS THE 56th anniversary of the Munich air disaster, in which 23 people including eight Manchester United players and three members of staff died when a plane returning to England from Belgrade crashed.

And while fans will show up at the Old Trafford fourcourt at 3.04pm this afternoon, Liverpool and Manchester City have put their rivalries aside for the day and joined in with their own tributes.
