Fulham player tries cheeky Panenka in FA Youth Cup final, chips over the bar

Moussa Dembele went eight iron when he should have selected sand wedge.

MOUSSA DEMBELE IS tipped for the top in the Premier League, having made his Fulham debut at the age of 17.

The teenager will hope to iron out the penalty-taking kinks in his game in the near to immediate future. This evening, in the first leg of his team’s FA Youth Cup final against Chelsea, and with the score 0-0 after 36 minutes, he attempted a cheeky panenka penalty chip.

His cheeky effort clipped the crossbar and Dembele was left with his head in his hands.

Luckily for Fulham, Dembele did not let the miss affect his game too much. After Jay Sasilva had scored for Chelsea, Dembele got the Cottagers’ response before Emerson Hyndman and Cameron Burgess made it 3-1.

Charly Musonda bagged a consolation for Chelsea to make it interesting heading into the second leg at Stamford Bridge.
