Mourinho: Return to England will be my next step in football

The Premier League will become a far more cocky place once The Special One is finished with Real Madrid.

JOSE MOURINHO HAS spoken of his intention to return to the Premier League, once his time with Real Madrid is up.

The former Chelsea manager has always been open about his preference for English football above all others, with many tipping him to take over from Alex Ferguson at Manchester United when the Scot eventually steps aside.

Mourinho – who has led Real Madrid to the top of La Liga from Barcelona – says that a return to the Premier League is ‘the next step.’

The 48-year-old told BBC Radio Four’s Today programme: “I am very, very happy to be in Real Madrid. It is a great experience for me.

“I believe it is probably the biggest club in the history of football, I didn’t want to miss the chance to work here but my passion is England and my next step will be to go back, if possible go and stay for a long time.

“Get me a club in a couple of years, get me a good club.”
