Moura move to Manchester United is off, claims agent

“We have to forget this subject. There is no possibility he leaves now. Manchester United made an offer, which was rejected and they won’t make another one as they have reached their limit.”

THE AGENT OF sought after Brazilian star Lucas Moura says his client will not be moving to Manchester United.

United have already had a bid rejected for the attacking midfielder, but are unwilling to increase their offer. Moura is currently with the Brazilian Olympic team in England and played against Great Britain in a warm-up match last Friday at the Riverside Stadium.

Sao Paolo have reportedly slapped a £30 million price tag on the 19-year-old. And Wagner Ribeiro, Moura’s agent, cannot envisage the young prodigy moving anywhere else after United turned their attentions elsewhere.

Ribeiro told UOL: “They (Manchester United) have reached their limit. Lucas Moura won’t leave. He is happy at Sao Paulo.

“We have to forget this subject. There is no possibility he leaves now. Manchester United made an offer, which was rejected and they won’t make another one as they have reached their limit.”
