Mount Leinster hurler hilariously describes championship win as 'just Europa'

We’re guessing James Hickey might be a little mixed up.

CARLOW CLUB MOUNT Leinster Rangers upset the odds by beating Oulart-The-Ballagh in Sunday’s Leinster senior hurling club championship final.

James Hickey came on as a second half substitute for Rangers and was interviewed by RTÉ News the day after their victory.

As well as admitting that it was the night of his life (even better than the birth of his son), the former Carlow inter-county hurler describes the feeling as “just Europa”.

We’re not 100% certain but we think he may have meant “euphoria”.
