MANCHESTER UNITED BOSS Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed the club are trying to bring in another ‘one or two’ players during the transfer window.
United have already completed deals for Shinji Kagawa from Borussia Dortmund and Nick Powell from Crewe but continue to be linked a host of other players including Leighton Baines and Joao Moutinho.
Ferguson is pleased with how the club’s transfer activity has panned out so far but conceded completing deals to bring players to the club can prove a long process.
On the chances of signing more players, he told MUTV: “Yes, there’s a possibility. We’re working on one or two things but there’s nothing really to tell you to be honest.
“We always try to get our work done at the end of the season – we spent a good deal of time sorting the deal with Shinji and we’d agreed a deal with Nick Powell before the play-offs which was a good move by us because the boy had an outstanding final at Wembley.
“When you don’t get deals done immediately and you’re negotiating with a club over a long period, then you can’t expect to just snap your fingers and get it done.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has joined Italian champions Juventus in a move that has led manager Sir Alex Ferguson to blast the teenager for a lack of respect.
“Pogba signed for Juventus a long time ago as far as we’re aware,” Ferguson told MUTV on Tuesday.“(It) is disappointing. I don’t think he showed us any respect at all so, to be honest, I’m quite happy that if they carry on that way, they’re probably better doing it away from us.”
Pogba, 19, arrived at United from French club Le Havre in 2009, but has made just seven first-team appearances, all from the substitutes’ bench, with the last during a 5-0 win over Wolves last March.
Ferguson added that the future of England left-back Ezekiel Fryers remains unclear. The 19-year-old has also been offered a new contract but has yet to inform United of his decision.
“We haven’t heard anything from Zeki Fryers,” added Ferguson.
“I don’t know what’s happening there but he’s not been in touch with the club. His agent hasn’t been in touch with the club and I can only assume he’ll be back for training.”

What A clown of a man. Fergie treats every like crap and blames everyone else. Delighted for the wee lad. :)
What are you on about you seem to have no idea of how fergie treats his young players the hair dryer treatment is for the senior squad he has rarely and only deservingly so taken some upstarts down a peg or two
I’m not a United fan (Liverpool, actually, god help me:)) but to call Fergie a a clown is just silly! His success rate is astonishing.
I’d say now that Pogba will become the most expensive player in the world when Man Utd buy him back in a couple of years time.
