MICKEY HARTE WILL remain in charge of Tyrone’s footballers until at least the end of the 2017 season.
The veteran Red Hand boss was ratified for another two years at a county board meeting tonight.
He set out his plans for county chiefs recently in what was the first time he needed to seek an extension.
Harte won All-Ireland titles in 2003 and ’05 and ’08 and is the longest-serving football boss.

The U-21 management team was also returned for two more years. Feargal Logan will continue to manage the side along with former stars Peter Canavan and Brian Dooher.
