Mickey Harte to stay on as Tyrone boss for two more years

Two more years! Two more years!

MICKEY HARTE WILL remain in charge of Tyrone’s footballers until at least the end of the 2017 season.

The veteran Red Hand boss was ratified for another two years at a county board meeting tonight.

He set out his plans for county chiefs recently in what was the first time he needed to seek an extension.

Harte won All-Ireland titles in 2003 and ’05 and ’08 and is the longest-serving football boss.

The U-21 management team was also returned for two more years. Feargal Logan will continue to manage the side along with former stars Peter Canavan and Brian Dooher.
