Now two of Ireland’s sporting icons, Brian O’Driscoll and Henry Shefflin, will line up together at a charity night in aid of the Michaela Foundation.
Joining BOD and King Henry on a star-studded bill for the ‘Night of Legends’ in Carton House are Ireland football manager Martin O’Neill, 2014 Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley and Tyrone’s All-Ireland winning manager Mickey Harte.
The Michaela Foundation was set up in memory of Michaela McAreavey, Harte’s daughter who was killed while on honeymoon in Mauritius three years ago.

The event, which will take place on 1 May, is billed as “an evening of fine dining, sports chat and memorabilia auctioning” offering guests a chance to meet and mingle with some of Irish sport’s most famous faces.
