Michael Vick might have accidentally revealed that he has a dog

The Philadelphia Eagles quarter-back was imprisoned for his involvement in an illegal dog-fighting ring.

LAST NIGHT, Michael Vick tweeted this photo of his daughter and him sitting at the kitchen table.

As the Philly sports blog Crossing Broad points out, there appears to be an open box of Milk Bones (a dog treat) sitting on the table:

Vick deleted that tweet, and then posted this picture of the same exact scene but with the dog treats cropped out:

The presence of the Milk Bones, along with the fact that he deleted the original picture, suggests that Vick owns a dog or at least has dogs in his house in some capacity.

He is legally allowed to own a dog. In 2010, he told ESPN that he missed being a dog owner and wanted to buy one for his daughter when his probation ended.

Vick has said and done all the right things since being released from prison in 2009. He has worked with animal rights groups and gone around the country speaking about animal cruelty. But we imagine the same people who were outraged when the Eagles signed Vick will be outraged that he owns a dog now.
