THIS EVENING SAW Ireland play their third match of the Euros against Italy in Lille.
Everyone’s nerves were shot for the entire match – until, in the 83rd minute, Robbie Brady pulled it out of the bag and scored a goal.
The whole of Ireland jumped to its feet, including President Michael D Higgins, who was sitting in the stands:

Maybe it was the sporting achievement talking, but everyone completely fell apart at the sight of him:
