LIONEL MESSI AND Radamel Falcao captained a host of stars who took to the field at Bogota’s El Campin Stadium for a charity match last night.
The ‘Battle of the Stars’ saw the likes of Diego Forlan, Daniel Alves, Robinho, Ezequiel Lavezzi and James Rodriguez feature in a 6-6 draw in aid of a number of Columbian children’s foundations.
“I am very grateful for the people of Colombia, very happy because the stadium was practically filled and I had a lot of fun. As always I want to do [charity matches] although I know I have a responsibility with Barcelona,” the world’s greatest player said post-match.
