MEATH HAVE BEEN given a major boost with the news that Mickey Newman is fit to face Dublin.
The Royals and the Dubs meet for a third straight year in the Leinster Senior Football final this Sunday in Croke Park.
Newman, who scored 3-2 against Carlow, has recovered from the hamstring injury that ruled him out of Meath’s semi-final win over Kildare and returns to take his place in the full-forward line.
