Rory McIlroy and Jamie Heaslip surprise young fans on the Toy Show

Christmas made.

IRISH SPORTS STARS Rory McIlroy and Jamie Heaslip, helped dreams come true for two lucky children on last night’s Late Late Toy Show.

Four-time major winner McIlroy surprised nine-year-old Charlie Smyth, who couldn’t quite believe his hero was standing in front of him.

The 2016 FedEx winner provided the aspiring golfer with some tips to improve his game, as well as tickets for next year’s Irish Open at Portstewart Golf Club.

Earlier in the show, fresh from Ireland’s triumphant November series, Jamie Heaslip gave a speechless Evan Hoban, the jersey he wore in his side’s battling victory over Australia.

And it doesn’t look like the nine-year-old will be taking off his ‘handsome’ hero’s jersey any time soon.
