It’s little wonder that Monaco’s teenage striker Kylian Mbappé is in demand then and some clubs seem a bit too eager to snap him up.
Monaco have today accused European clubs of tapping up the 18-year-old and threatened to report them to Fifa for their recent conduct.

In a statement issued on their club website this afternoon, Monaco reacted to recent approaches made ‘without its authorisation’.
Mbappe was central to Monaco’s success last season as they claimed the Ligue 1 title for the first time in 17 years and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League, where they lost out to Juventus.
In total Mbappe netted 26 times for Monaco during the season with six of those goals coming on the European stage.

“AS MONACO regretfully notice that European football clubs made contacts with Kylian Mbappé (and his entourage) without its authorisation.
“AS MONACO want to remind to these clubs that such actions are contrary to the article 211 of the Administrative regulation of the French Football League (Ligue de Football Professionnel) and to the article 18.3 of the Regulation of the Status and the Transfer of the Players of FIFA.
“To put an end to this unacceptable situation, AS Monaco consider asking the French Football League (Ligue de Football Professionnel) and the FIFA to commit disciplinary procedures against clubs offenders.”
